The Akebono banding machine is an arch style tabletop bander designed to meet the needs of first time and low volume end users. Loaded with features found on more expensive machines, this affordable machine will provide years of reliable service with little or no maintenance. Using a heat-sealing system, this machine will band with both paper and plastic banding material interchangeably. The operation of this bander is so uncomplicated that it can be taught over the telephone. It comes complete with an automatic photo eye, a foot pedal and positioning guide plates; and it can be put into service out of the box to easily produce professional looking bands. Compact and portable, the Akebono has a built in material-dispensing roll. It can be easily carried and used in the front office or on the production floor. As with all of our banders, the Akebono takes advantage of the reliability of an arch. By swinging down the front panel, banding material rolls can be easily replaced or changed. Band tension can be easily and rapidly adjusted from this compartment.

 

Recognizing that first time and low volume users also need the reliability that only an arch style banding machine can provide, the Akebono incorporates a large arch that allows for a wide variety of product sizes to be consistently banded. The arch system allows multiple bands per package without the need to remove the package from the machine after each band.
